Available Queens

Every breeding cat here at Bellahima is a much loved pet, first and foremost. When it comes to retiring our queens, we like to ensure that they can live out their life as a pampered pet within a loving family. As much as I would love to have all of my girls retire here and stay on with us, it is their happiness that I must consider. Every retiring queen deserves to live a long and fulfilling life, cherished and adored by their family. The decision to rehome some girls is difficult as we love them so much. So it is for this reason that I am particularly selective in finding the right family for them. Generally, our retiring Queens are looking for their new families at around 2-3 years of age. They require a commitment from their new families that must show patience, understanding and a willingness to support them through the transition period.

The adoption fee is substantially lower for a retiring queen compared to that of a kitten. All retiring queens are wormed up to date, flea treated, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and are health checked by our vet. It is imperative that all prospective families can commit to a settling in period.
